Telephone numbers in the Greater Cairo Region (02) area code will become 8 digit numbers.

The Transition is very simple:

If you are dialing a number in the Greater Cairo governorate(Cairo, Giza, Kaliobeya) (02), you will have to add a digit to the traditional 7 digit telephone number.

For example:

Our telephone number was : (02) 521-3356 It will become (02) 2521-3356
